Luke joined Makao Investments in 2024 as an Investment Consultant. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Massey University, majoring in Economics and International Business, and is a CFA charterholder. Luke brings extensive experience in investments and insurance to the team.

Before Makao, he worked at Craigs Investment Partners, advising private wealth clients on investment strategies. Previously, he was the Corporate Pricing Manager at Southern Cross Health Society, leading a team focused on sustainable pricing and corporate account renewals.

Originally from Auckland, Luke now lives in Rotorua with his wife and two children. The family enjoys exploring the region’s lakes and forests, and Luke often spends his free time mountain biking or running in the Whakarewarewa Forest. He’s also a podcast enthusiast and loves international travel, always eager to embrace new experiences and learning opportunities.
